Emerson, TMK, and Unitech VCR replacement parts and rubber kits. Your VCR may have the Unitech or TMK logo in place of the Emerson logo. The on-line database has been setup to direct you to the proper rubber replacement kit for your VCR. Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made. If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos
below. If the chassis in your VCR is not like these check our MBK-05
series of kits. Some of these models were built like these and like the MBK-05

MBK-04:

Contains both belts, Capstan belt, and the counter belt. Bad belts can cause problems such as shuts down during any mode or wont get through power up initialization. The capstan belt will also cause lines in the picture and/or audio drag. Your price is $3.95

MBK-04T:
|
This kit contains the capstan belt, counter belt and the idler tire. The idler tire drives both reels in these VCRs. A bad tire can cause problems such as no FF/REW, wont play, shuts down in play or FF/REW modes, or eats tape. Your price is $4.95 for this kit.

MBK-04PT:
|
Contains both belts, Capstan belt, and the counter belt. This kit also contains a replacement idler tire and pinch roller. If the pinch roller has never been changed you probably need one. If the roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up the pinch roller has probably been slipping This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these Orion/Emerson built VCRs.
