![]() MBK-106: Belt Kit |
Contains the only belt that is used in these Panasonic VCRs. A slipping belt can cause problems ranging from lines in the picture to will not play a tape. The belt drives the clutch which turns the idler assembly. Your price for our MBK-106 kit is $1.25. See photo for location of Belts |
![]() Idler Assy. |
The idler assy. in these VCRs is a common source of problems. The idler assy. is fairly frail in these units and will crack or break. This will cause the VCR to fail in play, record, fast forward, or rewind. The VCR may accept the tape then eject it immediately or try to load tape around the video head but stop part way. The most common symptom of a faulty idler is the VCR failing to turn the reels. Your price for our MBK-106-I kit is $6.50. |
![]() MBK-106-PRA |
The pinch roller assembly in these VCRs can be a source of problems. If the roller is shiny and glazed, the tape travel may not be skewed and inconsistent, causing video and/or audio dropouts, tracking problems, or speed variation. The manufacturer does not offer the roller alone for this model series; the entire pinch roller assembly must be replaced in order to replace the roller. The price for our MBK-106-PRA pinch roller assembly is $13.62. |
![]() MBK-106-MSW |
The mode switch can cause a variety of problems, from intermittent to continuous. The VCR may act erratic - not wanting to accept the cassette, repeatedly turning off the VCR when you try to turn it on, taking in the cassette half-way and then ejecting it, leaving about 6" of tape hanging out of the cassette upon ejecting, or ejecting the cassette when play or record is selected. The mode switch is driven by the large cam gear, right rear side of the top of the deck. The price of the MBK-106-MSW is $7.85. |
