Bad belts in these VCRs can cause problems such as an attempt to power up then shuts down, lines in the picture, eats tape, and fast forward and rewind failure. Contains capstan/idler belt and the load belt and the two idler tires. Does not include the carriage belt used in some models (see MBK-121-CB, above). The tires are the only part of the idler assembly that normally needs to be replaced. The tires drive the reels in both play/record and fast forward/rewind.
