We have several replacement rubber kits for these VCRs manufactured by Goldstar. Our MBK-25 series of rubber replacement kits covers two versions of these Goldstar chassis. You will need to look inside your VCR before ordering to insure the proper kit. The difference in them is in the reel drive idler system. This same basic chassis was built with a dual rubber tired idler systems and then changed to a single geared idler. Of course if your chassis used the geared idler you will not need an idler tires.

Contains both belts that are used in these Goldstar VCRs. Slipping belts can cause all sorts of problems in these VCRs from eating tape or bad picture to failing to take a cassette. Your price for or MBK-25 kit is $2.50. See photo for belt location |
 MBK-25P: Complete Rubber Kit |
This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these Goldstar VCRs if they use the geared type idler. If your VCR uses a pair of rubber tired idlers see our MBK-25PT kit for the a complete rubber replacement. This kit contains both belts, and the pinch roller. If the pinch roller has never been replaced you probably need one. If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it the pinch roller has probably been slipping. Your price for our MBK-25P kit is $9.00.  MBK-25T: Rubber Kit |
This kit contains both belts and both idler tires. If the idler tires have never been replaced your VCR probably needs them. If your VCR has a geared idler you will not need this kit, see our MBK-25 belt kit or our MBK-25P rubber kit. The idler tire is the only part of the idler assembly that normally needs replaced. The large, spring loaded, gear on the side of the carriage is a common source of problems in these VCRs. Our MBK-25-CRG is a new replacement for this gear assy. If your VCR is having problems loading cassettes this gear is probably what you need. Your price for our MBK-25-CRG is $3.50.
