Toshiba, Emerson, and Scott VCR replacement rubber kits.
Your VCR may have the Emerson or Scott name on it instead of Toshiba.   The on-line database has been set up to direct you to the proper rubber replacement or Maintenance kit for your VCR.  Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made.  If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos below.  If you feel that we've made a mistake, please E-Mail us   and let us know.

MBK-26:
Belt Kit
Contains the loading belt, the only belt used in these Toshiba VCRs.   The most common problems caused by a bad loading belt in these VCRs is the VCR will load tape around the head then shut down.  If you try several times the VCR may eventually play the tape.   Your price for our MBK-26 kit is $1.95.

MBK-26T:
Belt and Idler Tire Kit
This kit contains the Belt, and the Idler Tire.

The most common problem caused by a bad loading belt in these VCRs is the VCR will load tape around the head then shut down.  If you try several times the VCR may eventually play the tape.

If the VCR "eats" tapes, or is unable to fast-forward and rewind, the idler tire is likely defective.  If you hear a motor running during FF or rewind, but the tape does not move and then the VCR shuts down, the idler tire is suspect.   If you have damaged tape left hanging out of the VHS cassette when you eject, you likely need to replace the idler tire.

Your price for our MBK-26T kit is $6.95.

MBK-26PT:
Belt, Tire and Pinch Roller Kit
This kit contains the Belt, Pinch Roller and the Idler Tire.

If the pinch roller has never been changed you probably need one.  If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black buildup the pinch roller has probably been slipping.  This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these VCRs.  Your price for our MBK-26PT kit is $15.95.
