MBK-29PT:
Complete Rubber Kit

This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these Mitsubishi VCRs.   It contains all three belts, the FF/REW idler tire, and pinch roller.   If the pinch roller has never been replaced you probably need one.   If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it the pinch roller has probably been slipping.   Your price for our MBK-29PT kit is   $11.25

MBK-29:
Belt Kit

Contains all three belts that are used in these VCRs.  The loading belt, carriage belt, and the capstan/idler belt.   Almost everything about these VCRs is influenced by belts in one way or another.   Belt problems range from wont take a tape to fails to play, to shuts down.   Replacing belts should be your first troubleshooting step.   Your price for or MBK-29 kit is   $3.75.

MBK-29T:
Rubber Kit

This kit contains all three belts and the FF/REW idler tire.  The reels are driven by a geared idler in play mode.   If the idler tire has never been replaced your VCR probably needs one.   This chassis is one of the most difficult ever built to change an idler tire in.  The complete black plastic section, above the idler, has to come out to get to the FF/REW idler.   Pay close attention as you remove it so you will know how to put it back.   Most common problems are with FF/REW, although eating tape is not uncommon.  Your price for our MBK-29T kit is   $4.75

MBK-29-PI:
Play Idler

In most cases the tire is all you need to replace on this idler.   These units are old enough now that the idlers are wearing out.   If the idler has never been replaced you probably need one.   This idler is used to drive the reels during Play, Rec, Play FF, and Play Rewind.   A weak idler will cause problems from no picture to lines in the picture.

Maintenance Kit

This is a maintenance kit for these Mitsubishi built VCRs.   It contains all three belts, the play idler assembly and the pinch roller.   The play idler drives the reels from above during Play and Rec.   This kit takes care of the most common problems with these VCRs.
