Mitsubishi, Emerson, and Scott VCR replacement parts kits.

Your VCR may have the Scott or Emerson name on it instead of Mitsubishi.   The on-line database has been set up to direct you to the proper rubber replacement or Maintenance kit for your VCR.  Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made.  If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos below.  If you feel that we've made a mistake, please E-Mail us   and let us know.

We have multiple replacement parts kits for these VCRs manufactured by Mitsubishi.

MBK-29PT:
Complete Rubber Kit

This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these Mitsubishi VCRs.   It contains all three belts, the FF/REW idler tire, and pinch roller.   If the pinch roller has never been replaced you probably need one.   If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it the pinch roller has probably been slipping.   Your price for our MBK-29PT kit is $14.95.

MBK-29:
Belt Kit

Contains all three belts that are used in these VCRs.  The loading belt, carriage belt, and the capstan/idler belt.   Almost everything about these VCRs is influenced by belts in one way or another.   Belt problems range from wont take a tape to fails to play, to shuts down.   Replacing belts should be your first troubleshooting step.   Your price for or MBK-29 kit is   $5.95.

MBK-29T:
Rubber Kit

This kit contains all three belts and the FF/REW idler tire.  The reels are driven by a geared idler in play mode.   If the idler tire has never been replaced your VCR probably needs one.   This chassis is one of the most difficult ever built to change an idler tire in.  The complete black plastic section, above the idler, has to come out to get to the FF/REW idler.   Pay close attention as you remove it so you will know how to put it back.   Most common problems are with FF/REW, although eating tape is not uncommon.  Your price for our MBK-29T kit is   $6.95.
