VCR replacement parts kits.
Your VCR may have the Bell & Howell, Fisher, Realistic, Sony or Sanyo  name on it.   The on-line database has been set up to direct you to the proper rubber replacement or Maintenance kit for your VCR.  Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made.  If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos below.  If you feel that we've made a mistake, please E-Mail us and let us know.

MBK-31:
Belt Kit
 Contains both belts ... the loading belt, and the capstan/idler belt.   Almost everything about these VCRs is influenced by belts in one way or another.   Belt problems range from won't take a tape to fails to play, to the VCR shuts down.   Replacing belts should be your first troubleshooting step.   Your price for our MBK-31 kit is $3.95.  Instructions included.

MBK-31-CGRP:
Carriage Gear and Helical Gear Kit

 A common problem with this group of VCRs is with the little white gear that drives the carriage, along with the helical gear in the loading assembly.      The gears will crack, break, or lose a tooth, causing the VCR to fail to load a cassette or attempt to load without a cassette.   The MBK-31-CGRP kit includes both of these gears. Carriage Gear
