Fisher VCR replacement rubber kits. The on-line database has been set up to direct you to the proper rubber replacement or Maintenance kit for your VCR.  Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made.  If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos .  You may also want to compare your VCR to the photo's at MBK-32 and MBK-33 . We have three replacement rubber kits and a repair kit for these VCRs, manufactured by Sanyo/Fisher. MBK-34: Belt Kit Contains all three belts: the loading belt, capstan/idler belt and the carriage belt.   Almost everything about these VCRs is influenced by belts in one way or another.   The most common symptom of bad belts is a no play situation.   The VCR may accept the cassette, load the tape then shut down.  Your price for our MBK-34 kit is  $3.75. MBK-34T: Belt Kit Contains all three belts, and a replacement idler tire.   The most common problem with a bad idler tire is the VCR will fail to fast forward and/or rewind.   These VCRs use a separate gear type idler for play mode. MBK-34PT: Complete Rubber Kit This kit is a rubber replacement kit for these Sanyo/Fisher VCRs.   It contains all belts, the idler tire, and the pinch roller.   If the pinch roller has never been replaced you really need one.   If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it the pinch roller has probably been slipping.   Your price for our MBK-34PT kit is $11.25.  See photos for parts locations. The VMK-159 kit contains all of the common items which cause problems in this chassis.  Included are all of the belts, a new idler assembly, and a new pinch roller.  Instructions are included.  Your price for the VMK-159 maintenance kit is $13.95. MBK-34-I: FF/REW Idler This kit contains the FF/REW idler assembly.   The most common problem with the FF/REW idler is a no Fast Forward or Rewind situation.   The VCR may FF or Rew slowly or jerk the reels as it tries to Rew/FF.  Your price for our MBK-34-I assembly is $5.50.
