Mitsubishi VCR replacement parts kits. The VCR pictured below should be similar to yours. Your VCR may have have a different model number but the mechanical section should be the same. We have several common replacement kits and parts for these VCRs manufactured by Mitsubishi

MBK-37: Belt Kit	Contains the drive belt, the only belt used in these VCRs, built by Mitsubishi. This belt is not only responsible for tape movement, but also is used in the ejection of the cassette. Your price for our MBK-37 kit is $1.25. See photos for belt locations.
PR-21B Pinch Roller Assembly and Belt Kit	Maintenance kit containing replacement pinch roller assembly and drive belt.. These VCRs have some problems with the pinch roller assembly. The spring will lose tension or break and cause the VCR to fail in loading tape, or the pinch roller will not apply sufficient pressure to allow the capstan shaft to move the tape. The belt also tends to stretch, causing problems in tape transport and accepting and ejecting the tape. Your price for our PR-21B Kit is $19.85. Instructions for installation (PDF)
MBK-37P: Belt and pinch roller	"Rubber" Maintenance Kit containing replacement pinch roller and drive belt. This kit is appropriate if you want to change the rubber "wear" items in your VCR, and assumes that the pinch roller assembly (see above) is working properly and is not broken. MBK-37-TUAD:	The Take Up Arm Driver is another common source of problems in these Mitsubishi VCRs. The Arm sits right under the pinch roller assembly and drives the Half Load arm, the arm that pulls the tape under the pinch roller. When the arm breaks, cracks, or chips a tooth the VCR will fail to load tape properly. Your price for our MBK-37-TUAD is $4.00. See photos for parts locations.
The machined brass replacement pulley The pulley kit: CapKit-1 Kit $10.95	The pulley on the bottom of the capstan is another common source of problems in these Mitsubishi VCRs. The original plastic pulley will break and come off of the capstan flywheel. This kit contains a machined brass replacement pulley, with an outer diameter of 20mm and an inner diameter of 12mm. Now, there have been two slightly different size pulleys used on Mitsubishi capstan motors. Some VCRs have a motor with a 12mm hub, for which this pulley will fit perfectly. Others have a slightly smaller hub of 10mm, and in order to use this kit you have to epoxy the 12mm pulley so that the hub is exactly in the center of the hole - you can do this by eye before the epoxy dries. The kit also contains the needed epoxy to permanently attach the new brass pulley. Your price for our CapKit-1 kit is $10.95. --> See photos for parts locations.
