MBK-40:
Belt Kit
 Contains the only belt that is used in these Hitachi VCRs.   The most common symptom of a worn belt is the VCR will attempt to power up then shutdown.  Your price for our MBK-40 kit is $1.95.

 
MBK-40P:
Complete Rubber Kit
 This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit.  It contains the belt and the Pinch Roller.  If the pinch roller has never been changed you probably need one.  If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black buildup the pinch roller has probably been slipping.  This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these VCRs.  Your price for our MBK-40P kit is $10.95.
Hitachi Idler

MBK-40-I:
Idler
 The idler in these Hitachi units will warp and cause the VCR to eat tape.  A visual inspection of the idler should be sufficient to determine if your VCR has an idler problem.   Your price for our MBK-40-I is $8.50.


MBK-40-CRK:
Overhaul Kit
 The cassette carriage has some problems in these VCRs.   There is a rod that goes all the way across the bottom of the carriage, with an arm/lever on both ends of it and a gear on one end.   Either or both of the levers may crack or the gear will break causing the carriage to fail to load cassettes.   Our MBK-40-CRK kit takes care of all of these common problems.   Your price for our MBK-40-CRK is $11.50.
