Our MBK-78 series of parts covers over twenty VCR models by JVC and Zenith. We have two rubber replacement kits and a repair kit for these VCRs that were manufactured by JVC. VMK-132 Maintenance Kit This kit is a complete maintenance kit for these JVC VCRs.   It contains both belts, the idler assembly and the pinch roller.  This kit replaces the most common troublesome items, including both belts, the pinch roller and the idler assembly. MBK-78: Belt Kit Our MBK-78 kit contains the only rubber belt that is used in these VCRs.   The belt is used to drive the cam gear and for loading and unloading tape.   Common problems are VCR ejects cassette shortly after loading, fail to load tape into play position after cassette loads, and shuts down.   Your price for our MBK-78 kit, is $1.25. MBK-78P: Complete Rubber Kit This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these JVC built VCRs.   It contains the belt and the pinch roller.   If the pinch roller has never been replaced you really need one.   If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it the pinch roller has probably been slipping.   Your price for our MBK-78P kit is $7.75. MBK-78-GK: Capstan Gear Kit Our capstan repair kit contains the gear that drives the nylon belt.   The original gear will crack and fail to move the nylon belt   This will cause problems such as no tape movement after loading.   The VCR may also eat tape.   This kit comes with two replacement gears, there have been two slightly different size gears used, and instructions.   Your price for our MBK-78-GK kit is $10.50.
